Another sunny day on the beach! As you head towards valencia port you will start to see the vollyball nets and hear the cheers and music! Bit different from where I grew up in manchester. I have to be honest and say that I don't know much about the sport... we were walking past the tornament and I had my camera with me and thought it was a good opportunity to try and get some action shots. Most of the subjects I shoot are very still or I have a fair bit of time to focus and compose the shot.
If you spot anyone you know in the shots, please leave a comment below so I can add some information about the teams.( I only had 10 minutes in passing so could only get shots of one match)
As more and more runners came past I got thinking about colours ( here comes the geeky bit). Its kind of commonly accepted that Canon cameras seem to produce some of the "best" colour science/depth in digital photography. Ohhhhh!!! Well I use Sony. Anyway, I wanted to try and get this Canon look on my Sony Alpha.
Some work from a great friend , and work mate, Pedro Wessels . A fantastic videographer who I work with a lot! Hence why we share our facebook page together. Allthough, when it comes to videography, Im more of a hired gun, pointing the camera and pressing record. Pedro is the guy who puts it all together and makes these fantastic edits! Here is a short he did of travels round Spain last year.
Check out his youtube channel, loads of great stuff on it!
