A short video of our trip down to Calpe and the local areas. Lovely place, especially at this time of year!

Another quick post from a summer job at SolMarket, here in Valencia. This is the third year that this food festival has run and each year it gets bigger and better. Situated on the beach, loads of different food trucks, live music and artisan stalls. Really lovely place to spend an evening. Don´t miss it next year if you are around the Valencia area!
Im sure most of you here in Valencia have been to the Bioparc, and most of the people who visit Valencia have been too. Whenever I talk about this place with friends it always seems to move onto "are zoo´s a good idea ?" argument. And I do understand this... I am not really a fan of Zoo´s. I don't really want to get into this whole debate but what I would like to say about the Biopic is that it´s like no other "Zoo" ( I don't think that term fits as a good description) you will ever see. Its open plan, and you are really walking around among the animals. The design , layout and ethics of this place are incredible. The work they do to conserve and educate is outstanding, and I would recommend anyone who has negitive views on such places to go and see it. It changed my mind for sure!
Here are some shots from a very, very hot (40C) Monday afternoon.

Hi again! Heres a really quick post from last night at Café Del Duende . If you don´t know this place, it´s a must see in Valencia. Its been so long since I´ve been here I feel pretty silly not to be going more often. Absolutely fantastic Flamenco Bar , with live music Thursday to Sunday. It gets packed quick, and then they have to turn people away unfortunately, so get down there early! We went down with my Mum and Dad who even ended up dancing at the end of the night! Brilliant! Great performance from Isabel Julve, Júlia Gimeno and Kike Naval.
So from a photography point of view this was really really hard. No flash allowed, very little lighting, and the back stage was covered in hanging LED lights. I did the best I could with an 85mm 1.8. (And a steady hand) Hope you like the shots, let me know what you think. Thanks.
